I installed this network card under Ubuntu 8.04. This is an ISA card. Ubuntu did not automatically detect this. It worked after adding the line "alias eth0 ne" (loading the driver ne) to the file "/etc/modprobe.d/aliases". Don't add the additional line "options ne io=0x300" that you sometimes see as a recommendation! It didn't work with this, only without it.

All the hardware works perfectly out of the box, including wireless and webcam. Since a default Mandriva install is quite heavyweight, I recommend uninstalling all aspell-xx, kde-i18n-xx, locales-xx and myspell-xx_XX localizations you don't need. This will usually free up a whopping 600 MB. Tested with Mandriva One KDE 2008.0 (with /home mounted on the SD card).
